Inspired by the value of helping others, Bakcsó Természetjáró, Természetvédő, Kulturális és Szabadidősport Egyesület organised the fifth Tiszalúc Charity Santa Run. Once again, the established event brought people together: 126 Participants Ran to Support Our Cause, from the youngest children to adults.
Santa visited again this year, surprising every participant under 18 with a gift pack. The run also advanced two of our association's core aims: building community and promoting healthy lifestyles.
Sustainability mattered too. Organisers again avoided race numbers, which would have created substantial paper waste and conflicted with the association's environmental principles.
Donations from Adult Participants Were Given to Tiszalúci Önálló Napközi Otthonos Óvoda és Bölcsőde,to benefit children with fewer opportunities. We were delighted that the runners' collective effort once again produced a meaningful result and practical support for our local community.
Thank you to every participant for coming, for your enthusiasm and for your donations.
We Hope to See You at the Sixth Tiszalúc Charity Santa Run Next Year!
