‘This Is How I Care for Nature’ – A Drawing Competition for Preschool and Primary School Children
Bakcsó Természetjáró, Természetvédő, Kulturális és Szabadidősport Egyesület invites entries from preschool and primary school children for Earth Day, under the theme ‘This Is How I Care for Nature’ .
🎨 Suggested Themes:
- Planting Trees and Caring for Flowers
- Protecting Animals and Loving Nature
- Picking Up Litter and Recycling
- How I Protect the Earth Every Day
- Playing, Walking and Exploring Outdoors
- Dreaming of a Green Future – What Will the World Look Like If We Care for It?
👶 Age Groups:
- preschool;
- primary school, years 1–4;
- primary school, years 5–8.
🖌️ Practical Details:
- A4 or A3 size, using freehand techniques . We welcome work in
pencil, wax crayon, pastel, watercolour, tempera or similar media. - Each entrant may submit one drawing.
- Entries must be delivered in person or by post to:
Tiszalúci Óvoda (Tiszalúc Kindergarten)
3565 Tiszalúc, Gyöngyvirág utca 1/a
The Envelope Must Contain:
- the artwork;
- a completed entry form;
- the entrant's name, address and age group written on the back of the drawing.
There Is No Entry Fee.
🔒 Eligibility: a permanent address in Tiszalúc and parental consent to the processing of personal data.
📅 Important Dates:
- Submission Deadline: 16 April 2024 (Wednesday), 16:00 [date as stated in the original Hungarian notice]
- Results Announced: 26 April 2025
An expert jury will assess the entries. The top three entrants in each age group will receive prizes.
🏆 Prizes:
- First Place: A Gift Pack Worth HUF 10,000
- Second Place: A Gift Pack Worth HUF 7,500
- Third Place: A Gift Pack Worth HUF 5,000
The winners' names and artwork will be published on the association's Facebook page, and the entries will be exhibited at the Earth Week event.
