About the Project
Original project title: Ismerd meg a nagyvilágot! – Tudásgyarapítási lehetőség kevesebb lehetőséggel rendelkező tiszalúci fiatalok részére
The ‘Ismerd meg a nagyvilágot!’ project enabled young people with fewer opportunities in Tiszalúc to explore Europe by rail. The journey gave them access to cultural, social and practical experiences that had previously been harder to reach.
Participants encountered new cities, customs and everyday situations while developing their navigation, problem-solving and foreign-language communication skills. They learned to plan together, take responsibility for one another and respond flexibly to unexpected situations.
Alongside broadening their knowledge, the project strengthened their confidence and openness to Europe. Shared experiences helped build a closer community and encouraged the young people to seek out further learning and travel opportunities.
