Our association held its fifth Earth Day event, warmly welcoming people of all ages from the local community. Once again, the programme used shared experiences to demonstrate the importance of sustainability and environmental awareness.
After the opening, we presented prizes for our drawing competition. Nine winners across three age groups and one special-prize winner received recognition and gifts.
Throughout the day, visitors chose from varied interactive activities, including painting recycling bins, making community trash art, a life-sized board game and creative crafts. All highlighted recycling and mindful lifestyles.
We were delighted to welcome back KÖSZ – Kisvárosi Önkéntes Szemétszedők Egyesülete, whose activities and exhibition about their work enriched the event.
Our event was also registered with the international Earth Day Event initiative, proudly putting Tiszalúc on the world map again this year.
Participants gained useful knowledge about environmentally conscious living in an engaging, enjoyable way. We hope these experiences will continue to influence their everyday lives.
