Bakcsó Természetjáró, Természetvédő, Kulturális és Szabadidősport Egyesület is organising Earth Week again this year, from 20 to 26 April 2026. The programme aims to bring environmental awareness closer to the local community and show how sustainability can become part of everyday life.
The week's main event is Green Solutions Day, taking place in Tiszalúc on 25 April 2026.
This special community day highlights how environmental protection can be shaped locally as well as globally. Participants will discover simple, effective solutions that are easy to incorporate into daily life.
Interactive activities, community creativity and experiential learning will run throughout the day. Visitors can gather ideas and discover through hands-on experiences how to live more sustainably.
One highlight will be the ‘Lúci’ Drawing Competition Awards Ceremony, where we will discover young artists' work and celebrate their creativity and environmental awareness together.
Green Solutions Day welcomes everyone who wants to care for their surroundings, is open to new solutions and would enjoy an active, inspiring community experience.
If the Earth's future matters to you and the message of Earth Hour resonates with you, join us for Earth Week too.
See you in Tiszalúc on 25 April 2026 – let's work together for a greener future!
