This notice summarises how Bakcsó Association handles personal data provided when using the website, contacting us or subscribing to our newsletter.
1. Data Controller
Bakcsó Természetjáró, Természetvédő, Kulturális és Szabadidősport Egyesület
Registered office: 3565 Tiszalúc, Alkotmány utca 23.
Email: info@bakcsottkszse.hu
Registration number: 05-02-0065998
2. Contacting Us
If you contact us by email or through the website's contact form, we process your name, email address and any information you voluntarily provide in your message. We process these data to respond to your enquiry and maintain any necessary contact. The legal basis is the data subject's consent or, where a request concerns entering into a contract, taking the necessary pre-contractual steps.
We retain the data for no more than one year after the enquiry has been concluded, unless a legal obligation or legal claim requires a longer retention period.
3. Newsletter Subscriptions
When you subscribe to the newsletter, we process your email address and, if provided, your name. Technical subscription data, such as the dates and times of subscription and confirmation and the IP address, may be recorded to demonstrate consent.
The purpose of processing is to send news, programme recommendations and information about events and the association's activities. The legal basis is freely given consent. You may withdraw your consent at any time, without giving a reason, using the unsubscribe link at the bottom of our newsletters or by contacting info@bakcsottkszse.hu .
We process newsletter data until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent in another way. After withdrawal, we remove the data from the mailing list; limited data needed to demonstrate consent may be retained for as long as necessary in connection with a legal claim.
4. Newsletter Data Processor
We use Brevo to manage newsletter subscriptions and delivery. The provider is Sendinblue SAS (Brevo), 106 boulevard Haussmann, 75008 Paris, France. Acting on the association's instructions, Brevo processes subscribers' data to record subscriptions, deliver confirmation messages and newsletters, and manage unsubscribing. The external Brevo form is blocked by default and loads only after the visitor has given prior consent. Once consent is given, the browser connects directly to Brevo's server, which may receive technical data, particularly the IP address, time of access and browser technical information. Rejecting the form does not restrict the website's other functions, and your choice can be changed at any time. Further information about Brevo's data processing is available in the Brevo privacy notice .
5. Technical Data and Logs
The hosting provider may process technical log data, such as IP addresses, timestamps, browser types and requested pages, to ensure that the website operates securely. These data are used to identify errors, maintain system security and prevent misuse.
Hosting provider: Websupport Magyarország Kft. (Magyar Hosting), 1119 Budapest, Fehérvári út 97–99.; email: info@mhosting.hu; telephone: +36 1 700 2323; website: www.mhosting.hu. As a data processor, the provider may process the technical and log data needed to make the website available, maintain its security, investigate faults and prevent misuse.
6. Cookies and External Services
The website currently uses no Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or other marketing tracking. Technical storage that is strictly necessary for its operation may be used without consent. The external Brevo newsletter form enables newsletter subscriptions and connects to Brevo only after prior consent; the technical data described in section 4 may then be transmitted. The separate Cookie Notice provides more information about cookies used on this website.
If statistical, marketing or other services requiring consent are added in the future, they may run only after the visitor has made a prior choice, and this notice will be updated accordingly.
7. Data Transfers and Data Processors
We transfer personal data only where required by law, requested by the data subject or necessary for data processing services that operate the website, email and newsletter. Data processors may handle data solely to provide the service and in accordance with the association's documented instructions.
8. Your Rights
You may request access to your personal data, their rectification or erasure, or restriction of processing; exercise your right to data portability; object to processing; and withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before consent was withdrawn.
You can send your request to info@bakcsottkszse.hu . If you wish to lodge a complaint, you may contact Hungary's National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH) or a court. NAIH contact details: 1055 Budapest, Falk Miksa utca 9–11.; postal address: 1363 Budapest, Pf. 9.; telephone: +36 (1) 391-1400; email: ugyfelszolgalat@naih.hu; website: www.naih.hu.
9. Data Security and Updates to This Notice
The association protects the data it processes through appropriate technical and organisational measures. We update this notice when the website's functions, the services used or the legal environment change.
